Chelsea 2-1 Queens Park Rangers – Premier League – 1st November 2014

Chelsea increased their lead over title holders Man City to nine points after a hard-fought west London derby win.

Oscar netted a fabulous outside-of-the-boot first-half strike as the Blues looked set for comfortable win. However, with Rob Green superb in goal for the visitors, the equaliser eventually came courtesy of clever Charlie Austin finish on 62 minutes.

Ultimately though, Jose Mourinho’s men would secure all three points after Eden Hazard won a rather soft penalty, which the Belgian duly converted to keep the Blues comfortably top of the table.
