Chelsea’s Champions League dreams were snuffed out at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night, with Paris Saint-Germain winning 2-1 at Stamford Bridge to progress to the quarter-finals via a 4-2 aggregate victory.

Adding insult to injury, the sight of Blues’ winger Eden Hazard swapping shirts with Angel Di Maria at half-time left a lot of Chelsea fans rather unimpressed.

Coming into the second leg on the back of a 2-1 win in Paris, Laurent Blanc’s petro-chem giants took the lead on the night after just 16 minutes, courtesy of gangly midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

However, 11 minutes later the hosts made it 1-1 when Diego Costa fired home.

With the scores level at the break, Belgian wingman broke the (apparently) unwritten rule about swapping shirts with an opponent at half-time, by doing just that, the naughty boy…

After the break, the mightly Zlatan Ibrahimovic got the goal his overall performance deserved to send the visitors through to the last eight via an 4-2 aggregate.

On 77 minutes Hazard limped off with injury, to be replaced by Oscar, with a number of the home fans booing the Belgian. However, while I know swapping shirts at half-time doesn’t look good, does it really make a difference? I don’t think so, myself!

Unless you’re on the winning side, and winning by quite a margin, it could give the impression that you’ve thrown the towel in.

It shows lack of professionalism, lack of pride, lack of commitment.

Wouldn’t bother me personally but can see how it may piss some fans off, looks a bit matey so perhaps do it in the tunnel or simply leave it till FT. Chav fans just a bit miffed that they’re out I’d say, had they gone through it probably wouldn’t have even been mentioned.
