In the week in which Arsene Wenger celebrates 20 years in charge at Arsenal (the anniversary isn’t officially until October 1st), the Gunners produced an outstanding performance against their west London nemesis Chelsea, thumping the Blues 3-0.
After the game, one of Arsenal’s chief architects in the resounding victory, Mesut Ozil, made a young fans day by giving him his shirt, with the boys’ reaction utterly heartwarming.
Ozil scored the third of Arsenal’s goals in a blistering first-half performance which left Chelsea bruised and battered, with Alexis Sanchez and a rejuvenated Theo Walcott also getting on the scoresheet.
After the game, the German genius then made a young fan’s afternoon even more special by throwing his Arsenal shirt at him, with the boy stunned and starstruck…
Hehe 👍🏽😉 There’s nothing better than seeing those shining eyes of a kid 😊 #YaGunnersYa #Gooners #AFCvCFC @Arsenal pic.twitter.com/j3PQiN8yvK

While Arsenal fans were on cloud nine after a rare win against Chelsea, fans of the Blues were left in no doubt that Antonio Conte has a massive job on his hands if he is to steer an imbalanced, ageing squad to silverware in the coming season.
