Chelsea secured top spot of Group L on Thursday night, after the Blues cruised to a 4-0 win against PAOK Salonika at Stamford Bridge.

The visitors already tough task was made infinitely harder by the dismissal of Yevhen Khacheridi after just seven minutes, with the defender sent off for denying Olivier Giroud a goal-scoring opportunity.

The Frenchman would take full advantage of his side’s one-man advantage, scoring on 27 minutes via a curled effort from a Pedro pass.

10 minutes later, Giroud would score again, this time smashing home a fine volley from a Cesc Fabregas pass.

In the second-half, the Blues continued to dominate and made it 3-0, courtesy of youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi who produced a crisp strike from inside the box.

The teenager then set up sub Alvaro Morata to make it 4-0 to the Premier League side, with the Spaniard scoring with his first touch the game.

The game would end 4-0 to Maurizio Sarri’s side, who strolled to victory.
