Mystic Mourinho predicts the William Gallas saga

Jose_mourinhoI am currently reading Gianluca Vialli‘s book The Italian Job – which is a cracking read by the way if you get the chance – and stumbled across this prophetic quote from the Special One:

"For example, if I have to shout at John Terry after a poor game and call him an effing disgrace, I can do that, because I know that in the next match he will be super-motivated to prove me wrong and will be the best player on the pitch.

"But if I say the same thing to William Gallas, the next game he won’t want to play for me. To me this is the single most difficult thing to do… knowing how to treat people differently and still be fair or, at least, appear fair."
