Goal of the week: Everton’s Tim Cahill equalises with an overhead kick against Chelsea

There were some great goals scored at the weekend – Fernando Torres touch of class from the sub’s bench and Ronaldo’s finish from an exquisite Tevez pass come to mind – but we’re suckers for an overhead kick.
Everton’s Tim Cahill shielded a cross from MacFadden and, with the ball hanging in the air, swivelled to excute a perfect bicycle kick. It wasn’t just Cahill’s acrobatics that earned our vote but the perfect timing of his 90th minute strike that gave Everton a point after being under the cosh for most of the game – ‘Aussie rules football’.

w00t I knew he was good but I didn’t know he had this in his locker. In your face Pele.
I personally thought Aaron Lennon’s was more classy. Great volley from outside the box, after some excellent build-up from Berbatov.
