Goal Of The Weekend: Carlos Tevez, Man City v Chelsea

By Ollie Irish

I think Nani’s solo goal at Bolton was a more impressive effort (he had more defenders in front of him and less space to work in), but in terms of significance to the Prem title race, Carlitos gets the nod; his powerful run kept Cole & Terry on the back foot, then his finish was beautifully angled and gave Cech absolutely no chance of saving it. But it wasn’t a great week in the Prem for wonder goals, nor for tipsters!

Honourable mentions: Nani, Michael Owen (lovely back-header), Samir Nasri, Darren Bent (flying header at Anfield)
