This is neat, a little pointless, but neat none-the-less – an infographic showing, on a country by country basis, the position from which every single goal has been scored at Euro 2012 so far…

The eagle-eyed among you may have noticed that England have scored from both the furthest out and the closest in. Who’d have thought that Theo Walcott’s wiffle-ball wobbler would be the tournament’s longest-range screamer to date? Incroyable.

I think England scored the best goals at the Euros with Welbeck’s and Walcott’s. Also Carrol’s header wasn’t bad.

  2. B says:

So England got both the closest and furthest goals.

    We won two things!!

I know you all don’t have a live blog, but did you just see the Sky Sports reporter get tossed around like a sack by the Spanish fans?

I’ve just got my trundel wheel out and it looks very, very close between England and Italy for the title of furthest out goal.

Interesting pic, I haven’t seen one like that before.
