Swansea City 1-2 Everton – Premier League – 22nd December 2013

Soccer - Barclays Premier League - Swansea City v Everton - Liberty Stadium

Ross Barkley fired home a magnificent free-kick to secure a hard-fought 2-1 win for Everton at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday. The game came to life in the second period, with Seamus Coleman opening the scoring before a Bryan Oviedo OG leveled things up. However, with just six minutes left, gifted youngster Barkley fired home a superb free-kick to move the Toffees to within two points of the top of the table. Surely Everton aren’t title contenders now too?
