West Bromwich Albion 1-1 Everton – Premier League – 20th January 2013
New Baggies’ boss Pepe Mel saw his side battle to a decent draw against Everton at the Hawthorns on Monday night. Belgian attacker Kevin Mirallas had given the Toffees the lead just before half-time. However, in the second period, the host fought back and were rewarded when Uruguayan hardman Diego Lugano headed home from a James Morrison cross. The Baggies move four points clear of the drop-zone while Roberto Martinez’s Everton stay sixth.
