Stevenage 0-4 Everton – FA Cup Fourth Round – 25th January 2014

Soccer - FA Cup - Fourth Round - Stevenage v Everton - The Lamex Stadium

Everton cruised through to the fifth round of the FA Cup after easily beating Stevenage on Saturday evening.  A first-half brace from Steven Naismith plus second-half strikes from substitutes Johnny Heitinga and Magaye Gueye secured a deserved win for the Toffees. However, the win was somewhat overshadowed by a horror injury for Bryan Oviedo, who suffered a double leg-break after trying to block a shot. Stevenage did start well and came very close to scoring when Lucas Akins was denied by Joel Robles but overall it was a convincing win for the Toffees.
