Everton 2-1 Cardiff City – Premier League – 15th March 2014

Soccer - Barclays Premier League - Everton v Cardiff City - Goodison Park

Poor old Cardiff, the Welsh side just aren’t getting the rub of the green at the moment as relegation looks more and more unavoidable.

At Goodison Park on Saturday, a sliced effort from Seamus Coleman at the death robbed Cardiff of a share of the points after Juan Cala had cancelled out Gerard Deulofeu’s opener. Throughout the game, Bluebird’s ‘keeper David Marshall had been the star of the show, making a number of superb stops, but ultimately it was everton who would secure all three points.

I keep reading how unlucky poor old Cardiff were. In fact they were lucky not to be 3-0 down at half time,They were completely outplayed and would have been very lucky indeed to have got anything from the game. Good luck to them ,I have seen worse teams at Goodison this season. But to say they deserved anything is stretching it.
