Watford and Everton produced a fine five-goal thriller at Vicarage Road in Satruday’s early game, with Stefano Okaka’s first two goals for the club helping the hosts to a precious 3-2 win.

Italian forward Okaka joined Watford in the summer from Anderlecht, netted his first goal for the Hornets via a superb back-heeled flick on 36 minutes.

That goal came after Romelu Lukaku had given the Toffees and early lead. However, just before the hour-mark, Sebastian Prodl put Watford 2-1 up with a header.

Soon after, Okaka, who previously lined out for Fulham on loan from Roma in 2010, netted his second of the game, via another header.

Lukaku would find the back of the net again late on, but Walter Materazzi’s side would hold on to secure all three points to move, at least temporarily, into seventh place in the table, two places above Everton.
