Snapshot: Dean Windass Angry Over Lack Of Opportunities For English Coaches And Er, Badgers…
By Alan Duffy
Chunky journeyman striker and current Sky Sports pundit, Dean Windass, is rather peeved at the fact that Nigel Adkin’s job a Southampton has been taken by a foreigner, former Espanyol boss Mauricio Pochettino.
In light of the appointment of the Argentinian tactician, ex-Bradford City hitman Windass Tweeted:
One of the criticisms aimed at foreign coaches is that their lack of English can be a big impediment to their job. However, ironically, this could well be the reason why Windass himself is struggling to get a managerial position.
Badgers?!!!

He’s an ex football as well apparently
They come over here, take our jobs, I’m not having it!
As a Hull City fan this guy is a legend. But to be fair most of us from Hull do love our Badgers!
God, he’s stupider than one of those grillers in the jungle, isn’t he?
As a Hull City fan this guy is a legend. Hitting that volley that secured us to the top flight for the first time in our 104 year history. Even though now he can be spotted most Friday nights down Princes Ave with a different girl on his arm he’s still a legend. But Deano… learn to spell pal! This guy wrote a book believe it or not!
It’s rhyming slang. “Badger’s nest” rhymes with “best,” so “badger’s” = “best.”
Does it count as bestiality if you’re a football, and own the badger?
Dean Windass, compelling and rich
@RPM
I wish that was the case, but I think he was referring to ‘badges’ as in the FA badges that are required to become a coach.
However, if it was a joke, I’ve clearly missed the point.
Really, a pundit names ‘Windass?’
Chris, this cries out for a piece on the most aptly named pundits in the game.

An absolute tool of the highest order.
They took our jobs!!! -South Park
By his logic incompetent coaches should be rewarded just for being English.
