Benin Football Federation Sack Manager & Entire Squad
By Chris Wright

Talk about acting on impulse! The Benin Football Federation (FBF) have fired every single member of the 23-man national squad plus the manager (Frenchman Michel Dussuyer) and all the coaching staff after finishing third in their group in this year’s African Cup of Nations – Benin’s best ever finish.
However, the Benin team’s performances left a lot to be desired and led The FBF to accuse every member of staff of displaying a ‘lack of patriotism’ and showing ‘mass indiscipline’ during the tournament in Angola.
They duly reacted by dissolving the entire national team set up with the view to starting afresh, with a new set of ‘rules of conduct’ in place to ensure that such a debacle never happens again.
Good luck to them…
