Suddenly finding themselves on the menu, Chesterfield players huddle together for safety
Torquay United have found themselves at the centre of accusations from a pair of Chesterfield players who claim that they were bitten by a Gulls player during Saturday’s 3-1 home win in League Two.
It came to light at Wednesday afternoon’s Shareholders AGM at Chesterfield that Spireites pair Armand Gnanduillet and Ollie Banks both claimed that their respective flesh was assaulted by an as-yet anonymous cannibalistic Torquay player during the game – with Banks even going so far as to post photographic evidence of the alleged bite marks on his ribs…
On another note, I can’t believe another human has taken a chunk out of my ribs in a football game! Disgusting! pic.twitter.com/D8GHtRGoTu

Chesterfield manager Paul Cook added: “It’ll be in the referee’s report. Hopefully there’ll be some action against the player.”
