Football GIF: Mexico Duo Miguel Layun And Isaac Brizuela Combine Horribly vs Bosnia & Herzegovina

By Chris Wright

Mexico lost 0-1 to Bosina & Herzegovina on their own patch last night, with El Tri’s misery all but summed up in one moment of pure, distilled FAIL when Miguel Layun and Isaac Brizuela combined effortlessly to stink up the place with a horrendously pathetic mix-up – much to the chagrin of their poor, beleaguered coach Miguel Herrera ..

    this is gold

Mexico needs to step up. There was too much confusion on the Mexico side and not enough pace.

  3. America says:

On their own patch? Chris, the game was in Chicago. That’s not their own patch. For some reason, America and ESPN likes to broadcast that the Mexican national team is our little brother, and their not. Would Italy play a friendly in France and be “on their own patch”?

  4. ChrisCan says:

To be fair, there are 264,816 Mexicans in Chicago and I would reason that most of them are fans of the national team (as Mexicans tend to be). You’d be hard pressed to find more than a handful of American cities with more than that number of US national team fans.

Maybe Chicago isn’t their home pitch, but it sure sounded like a Mexico home game.

@ America – for some reason? Even ESPN…the all NBA/NFL network realizes a good thing when it has it. Mexican Natl. Team games on U.S. soil and U.S. t.v. = HUGE amount of money, considering the amount of Mexican-Americans in the country.

Also, were they in orange jerseys? Did they borrow those from the Dutch?

And, these two look like a few guys in our Tuesday night pre-pub match.

miguel herrera looks like a bullfrog midcroak

Miguel layun is a good player and brizuela has alot of potential why dont they show both goals that Layun scored against israel??????? Mexico is playing good and could go far in the world cup.
