On Friday night, Crystal Palace booked their place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup after securing a 2-0 win away to Reading, courtesy of a penalty from Yohan Cabaye (after Jake Cooper had seen red) and a late strike from Fraizer Campbell. Not surprisingly, the travelling supporters was rather glad with the result, with one Palace fan’s celebrations falling foul, rather harshly, of the local police.

The evening after the game, an Eagles’ fan was handed a caution from the local old bill in Reading town centre for ‘Singing Crystal Palace songs in the street and jumping around in the road following football match’…

A bit harsh, no!? No doubt the copper in question was a Royals’ fan. Or maybe a Brighton one?
