According to this morning’s Daily Mail, Paul Gascoigne has been arrested yet again, this time on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs (believed to be cocaine) after being held by police at a house in Burradon, North Tyneside, yesterday evening.

A spokesman for the local fuzz made the following statement to the gathered press:

“At shortly after 5.30pm on Thursday 21st October, police attended a property in North Tyneside.

A 43-year-old man (Gascoigne) was arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A drug. A second man, aged 43, was later arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs.

Both men are still in custody and inquiries are on going.”

The news comes two days after Gascoigne was told he may be facing jail by Newcastle Magistrates’ Court, after being stopped by the police whilst three times over the legal drink-drive limit earlier in the month.

*Sigh*

In some ways, don’t we all wish he’d just die? Horrible to say, but in some ways, he’d be better off in peace than existing like this.

I know what you mean Ollie, and I’m sure it’s not going to be that overly long until we wake up to that exact headline – sadly, only then will the sympathy begin to flow.

i stopped feeling bad for him a llooooooooooonngggg time ago.

Just send him away already. The more shit he gets into, the less we will remember him for the brilliant footballar that he actually was.

Hm, you’d think the British press wouldn’t be so destructive against their own celebrities.
Just goes to show you what people find to be ‘news’ sometimes. I’m still going to remember him as a brilliant footballer, and one of England’s very best, if not the best. It’s just sad that the media will ruin that image for many to come, especially the more recent generation.

Ollie Irish, you would prefer him dead just so that he doesnt appear in the news? hes a human being and you have no right to decide whethere he’s better off dead, he might like drinking and doing drugs
