Whether we’re talking Liverpool’s fleet of migraine-inducing change strips, Sevilla’s rather ‘busy’ new home shirt or Japanese side Sagan Tosu’s retina-blistering neon kits, Warrior are steadily garnering themselves quite the reputation as being one of football’s most unorthodox (to put it politely) kit designers.

You’ll no doubt be glad learn that the American company’s latest effort, Shamrock Rovers’ new goalkeeper jersey, is suitably in-keeping with their utterly barmy canon – though it may not look like it on first view.

In it’s natural state, the Shamrock ‘keeper shirt is nowt but a fairly tame, plain orange affair – that is until you turn it inside out, thus unleashing the madness/hell…

  1. Geraldo says:

Shamrock Rovers are abbreviated to “Rovers” in Ireland , not “Shamrock”. Otherwise fine!

  2. Rob says:

    Busy day then Geraldo?

  3. savage says:

why on earth do clubs allow warrior to design their kits? they’re an american lacrosse brand, they have no place in the football world.

  4. Jarren says:

@Geraldo: Thanks for that. Consider fact for today learned.

In other news, Warrior are indeed mental.

If they’re not careful they’ll kickstart a mid-90’s kit revival.

Yeah yeah, it starts off being laughed at. Then hipsters adopt it and suddenly it’s “cool”. Then the mainstream gets force fed it.

Mark my words, in 3 years time kits will ALL look like Warrior.

Jarren, I honestly think you’re correct. I believe that’s exactly what Warrior is trying to do, and I’m with you; they may very well succeed.

And I actually like Sevilla’s new home shirt :X

  6. Joe says:

Warrior’s logo also looks like the legs of someone taking a piss, quite appropriate given Liverpool’s care in the community designs.

  7. andy says:

Think warrior stand out from the rest. Designs R bold.
