Phil Brown Sacked By Hull City
By Ollie Irish
“Gnnnrrrrrr. We would have got a draw if it wasn’t for those pesky kids.”
Word on the street (i.e. the internet) is that permatanned knobhead (© Pies) Phil Brown has been sacked by Hull City (yes, he has – it’s official now, though the club calls it ‘gardening leave’). Brian Horton and Steve Parkin will fill in for now. Oh joy.
The news isn’t a massive shock – the Tigers are mired in the relegation zone, and after a crushing loss to Arsenal at the weekend (in which Hull actually played very well for one half minus Mad George Boateng), plus news of the embarrassing Jimmy Bullard vs Nicky Barmby set-to in front of a bunch of Women’s Institute members, it seems like the club’s suits have finally had enough of their Marmite gaffer.
UPDATE Brown’s sacking has been confirmed by the club on their official website.
So, no end-of-season survival karaoke to look forward to. Shame – and Phil had just bought a big house with a Buck Rogers toilet.
Hull fans, you happy to see the back of your outspoken manager?

Marmite test – he looks like he’s been dipped in the stuff. An absolute tosspot…
Glad to see him go……But i feel it maybe too late. Can’t see Horton and Parkin doing much.
Cant see Horton & Parkin doing much eh? Just wait til Dowie gets the job!
Easy to overlook what he actually achieved at Hull, which is pretty impressive considering….
