Pies Launches New Football Magazine, Issue 1 Out Now!
By Ollie Irish
Big news, folks. Today we launch the first issue of our new quarterly football magazine. Wooooooop!
The first issue of Who Ate All The Pies (The Tasty Football Magazine) is on sale today. TODAY! Like NOW! You can consume Issue No.1 it in three ways:
1) As a printed, 48-page magazine (order it here) – we hope that you’ll buy it not only as a gesture of support for Pies (it costs around a fiver), but also just because it’s worth it. And who knows, maybe one day it’ll be a collector’s item!
2) It’s also available as a FREE iPad download – simply download the free Magcloud App and search for ‘Pies’ in their mag store
3) You can get it as PDF for £1. To get the PDF in your inbox, all you have to do is pay £1 into our PayPal account (ollieirish@gmail.com is the email address you need to enter to make the payment) and we’ll email you Issue No.1 asap.
I’d like to thank all of you who contributed to the first issue, from top-notch bloggers including Arseblog and The Equaliser, to our loyal readers who sent in Shit Lookalikes and matchday photos. We’ve worked hard to produce a magazine that combines an irreverent fanzine spirit with high-quality writing.
In the first issue, you can read about Gazza’s greatest pranks, a brief history of Arseblog (by Aresblogger himself), the top 10 Premier League lesbians, the rise of USA soccer fan groups, Glenn Hoddle’s Spanish academy, the 20 best footballers under 20, and much more.
Oh, and we’ve already started work on Issue No.2 so if you want to feature in it, please do get in touch (ollie@anorak.co.uk).
Cheers, and I hope you all enjoy Pies No.1
