There are many football fans out there who claim to be lifelong supporters of their chosen clubs, but Cambridge United fan Emily Giles has a stronger claim than most after recently becoming The U’s youngest ever season ticket holder at the grand old age of four months.

Emily was signed up by her auntie, Amy Wells, and is now the proud holder of a Cambridge season ticket despite having not existed at all when United last won silverware – the FA Trophy, back in March

Indeed, Emily was actually born two days after the club beat Gosport Borough at Wembley to lift the cup.

Auntie Amy, 25, told the Cambridge News:

“Me, her Nana and her great-granddad have all been big supporters and we thought we would get Emily started at an early age.

“We were filling out our forms for the season and we thought we should fill one out for Emily as well.”

As things stand, Emily is set to attend her very first Cambridge game on August 23rd, when her beloved side will entertain Morecambe at the Abbey Stadium.

Awwww.
