While League Two side Carlisle United were beating Welling 5-0 away in the FA Cup second round, their home ground of Brunton Park was suffering a hammering of its own. Caught up in the rather vicious Storm Desmond, the 18,2000 capacity stadium found itself submerged as flooding devastated the entire area…

Let’s the hope the people affected can get their lives back on track once the flooding subsides and that the Cumbrians can get their stadium back up and running as soon as possible.
