Premier League Photos: Tottenham 2-0 Fulham – Remember David Bentley?

A straightforward victory for Spurs, with Fulham offering very little in attack; the Cottagers don’t travel well, even on cross-London journeys. The Yids’ goals were scored by a couple of unfashionable Englishmen: Peter Crouch, who pounced from close range midway through the first half, and then David Bentley – you might recall the name. Bentley’s free-kick took a deflection of Bjorn Riise (John’s brother), putting Tottenham 2-0 up on 60 minutes. Game over.

Spurs remain in fourth, seven points behind third-placed Chelsea, with Fulham in ninth. Can Spurs hold on to fourth come the end of the season? If Aaron Lennon comes back from injury and plays like he did in the first third of the campaign, it’s possible though unlikely. As I’ve said before, I still suspect Liverpool will do just enough to maintain their big-four status.

Can’t see your justification for saying that it is “unlikely” we’ll hold on to fourth – What do you know that the rest of us don’t? Even more ridiculous is your “suspicion” that “Liverpool will do just enough to maintain their big-four status” – No evidence for that at all – especially after last night’s woeful show from the scousers (including Gerrard)!!!

I can’t help laughung at the name of this ignorant reporter, Ollie IRISH! His article above is as daft as his surname! Liverpool will NOT make the fourth place at all – I have no doubt whatsoever about this. They are too far behind and they have very difficult matches ahead. I can only see either Manchester City or Tottenham Hotspur grabbing that coveted fourth place.

if ur ridiculing liverpool for playing badly and they absoloutly ripped u guys so what does that say about tottenham, and Liverpool will definatly claim fourth either that or we will serve u some dodgy lasagne
