Arsenal 2-0 Fulham – Premier League – 18th January 2013
While the vast majority of the footballing media seem to believe that the destination of this season’s Premier League trophy is a foregone conclusion (Man City being the apparent champions elect), Arsenal keep on winning and keep themselves top of the table. Santi Cazorla was the match-winner on Saturday against Fulham, with the pint-sized Spaniard bagging a fine second-half brace after the Cottagers had frustrated the hosts in the first period. Arsene Wenger’s charges stay a point clear of City at the top of the table while Fulham are just a point clear of danger.
