#DeadlineDay: Fulham Complete £11m Signing Of Greek Striker Kostas Mitroglu (Photo)

By Chris Wright

That’s it! Done deal! Fulham have signed Kostas Mitroglu from Olympiakos – the man they call ‘Pistolero’, due to his rifle goal celebration - for a rather considerable £11million.

The Greek striker has a fantastic record in the goal-scoring stakes over the last season-and-a-bit (21 goals in 23 appearances for club and country this term) but, from what – admittedly little – we’ve seen of him in action, he’s going to have to go some way to convince us that he’s worth that kind of money.

That said, what does £11million get you in professional football these days?
