Another goal by Roberto Zamora – in the first minute! – was more than enough to see Fulham through to the last four in the Europa League. They now face another Bundesliga side, in the form of Hamburg.

Even without Clint Dempsey, the Cottagers gave a composed, mature performance against the current German champions, and fully deserved the win. As for Zamora, surely Fabio Capello must be wondering if he’s worth a look in England’s next friendly – Row Z is such an improved player, especially in his hold-up play.

And who’s that in the stands, cheering on his beloved black-and-whites? Why, it’s none other than wooden actor Hugh Grant, who cunningly disguised himself by wearing a baseball cap.
