Fulham have signed a lucrative four-year kit deal with Nike (the American influence paying off?), which in addition to the club’s shirts sponsorship deal with electronic giants LG, is a sign that the club means business for next season.
The 2007/08 season kit reflects is ‘a modern revision of the all-white home shirt first worn in 1903’. Fulham will wear a black-and-red striped away shirt, similar to the one worn during the 1974/75 season, when the club reached the FA Cup final.
I like the kit a lot. It’s classy and understated, much like Fulham chairman Mo Al-Fayed – hell, it even makes Jimmy Bullard look half-decent. What do you think of it?
