In photos: Fulham 2-0 Hull City, Premier League

This was a stroll in the park for Fulham, who needed a confidence boost after their faltering start to the new campaign. Hell, even Bobby Zamora looked good last night.

Hull, meanwhile, were absolute toss – though it was nice to see Jimmy Bullard back in action – and WILL  go down if Phil Brown stays in charge. Now that Michael Turner has jumped ship, they really do look a Championship-level side at the back.

It’s not like Hull don’t have the makings of a half-decent team going forward (Geovanni, Bullard, Boateng and Hunt in midfield, with Jan VoH and Altidore up front) but Brown’s apparent insistence on hoofing it up to the biggest striker he can select is not gonna work. His limitations as a manager are there for all to see; he speaks about passion but you need more than blood and thunder in the Premier League.
