Photos: Fulham 1-1 Roma, Europa League
Fulham took the lead through a Brede Hangeland header on 24 minutes, but Marco Andreolli’s last-gasp volley earned Roma a draw they fully deserved.
In an incident-packed match, Hangeland was then mistakenly shown the red card, before the ref correctly sent off Stephen Kelly – he’d tripped up Joh Arne Riise in the box. Fulham keeper Mark Schwarzer saved Jeremy Menez’s resulting penalty.
Who said the Europa League was dull?
