Having watched old-timer Shevchenko sneak in Ukraine’s winner at the near post, Sweden fans rallied to show Mikael Lustig just how easy it is to guard a post properly – sending the right-back hundreds of photos of themselves doing likewise, along with the slightly bitchy tag line ‘you had one job Lustig!’…

Good to know it’s not just England fans that fixate on trivial blame appropriation after things like this!

Lustig did not have a lustig game (lustig being the Swedish word for funny)and although the loss was not entirely Lustigs fault, his mistake was the straw that broke the camel’s back really. The whole team (except Zlatan really) played like afraid boys, and the first 45 was one of the worst I’ve seen during Hamréns time as manager. I am hopeful that Granqvist takes his place at right back with Olsson joining Mellberg in the center. It ain’t over until it’s over…

Lest we forget, that large, long-haired gent also in the picture is Zlatan, who was “marking” Shevchenko in the first place.
