Hyde FC Forced To Disguise Trialist Players With Pseudonyms Again, This Time Choose Famous Actors

By Chris Wright

You may remember that, just a couple of days ago, Hyde FC were forced into devising a method of keeping the names of their various trialist players under wraps while live-Tweeting their pre-season friendly against Altrincham to avoid alerting rivals teams as to their availability.

Well, Hyde came up against the very same problem for last night’s pre-season friendly against Burnley but this time, instead of subbing in the names of left-wing revolutionaries, the Conference North side used the names of various actors as pseudonyms.

Hilarity duly ensued (read from the bottom to the top)…

hyde-full

Cracking stuff, once again!

You’ll no doubt be glad to learn that Hyde’s next pre-season friendly fixture is next Tuesday.

We can hardly wait…

  1. Murray says:

“Roy Schneider”, must be a compound of Roy Scheider and Rob Schneider.

  2. Jarren says:

A bit more laboured than the left wing one (it’s basically just associated phrases lumped in to the names) but nice all the same!
