As well as doing sick bunny hops on his BMX and absolutely owning noobs with his epic sniper skillz on Call of Duty, Norwegian prodigy Martin Odegaard has also found time this year to well and truly tear in up for Stromsgodset in the Tippeligaen and, as a direct result, become the youngest ever player to represent his country at senior level.

Despite his meteoric rise to stardom, the precocious 15-year-old midfielder still missed out on inclusion in the vast Football Manager 15 player database due to the slightly depressing fact that he wasn’t born until five months after France ’98 finished.

After it was found that Odegaard hadn’t been included on the game, a minor wave of consternation emanated from the Football Manager community – with fans expressing their disappointment that they wouldn’t be able to have a stab at moulding the promising wunderkind’s career themselves.

However, Odegaard’s father, Hans Eric, has since stepped in and granted Sports Interactive his permission to include his son in the game – with SI’s studio director Miles Jacobson confirming the news with a Tweet…

Jesus, even his dad looks younger than me.

*Sigh*

Getting old seems to be a mixture of experience, regret and abandon.

I’ll be 36 next year, yet it seems like just yesterday I turned 21.

Soon I’ll be 40, then 50, then 60, then 70, then probably dead.

May I just be the first to wish everyone a HAPPY CHRISTMAS! :D
