FIFA 12 Gameplay Trailer Released – Features Brutal Nigel De Jong Bone-Cracker (Video)

By Chris Wright

EA Sports are currently drip-dripping various virals and teasers to swell the hype ahead of FIFA 12′s official release on 30th September and the latest is centred around the new, fluid gameplay engine – which is so realistic that it apparently even allows you to ‘De Jong’ the living snot out of your opponents (0:25 mark) with two-footed, waist-high scissor tackles…

Yeesh. Looks pretty sweet though, no?

In ‘his’ virtual defense, he got the ball… And he would never do that to a fellow Dutch…

Joe Hart didn’t even touch the ball

PES is pretty good, then you wake up.

  7. Papi says:

Lol @ Podolstick fooling an opponent! I suppose it’s not as bad as their other trailer, where I believe Nando Torres scores a goal.

I also noticed that PSG got some air time in this trailer. Nice.

  8. Stupot says:

Crikey no wonder he’s out for 6 weeks

  9. CheckOdds says:

It looks nice, but don’t you think that the recent 2 if not 3 versions of FIFA look about the same in graphics and game style? Maybe there isn’t anything more to bring to the game…

Couldn’t agree more mate, PES has better graphics no question, and if anyone has played the demo of it that was released a couple weeks ago they’d probably agree that it is a much much better game than their last effort. It won’t be better than FIFA, but it’s definitely worth trying out. If FIFA sorted out their graphics, so that we don’t have clay faced trolls representing the most famous footballers on the planet, it would perhaps be the best game ever. Ever.

Any chance someone knows the name to this song?

  12. The song is “Kids” by Sleigh Bells

  13. darci says:

Love Sleigh Bells! Song fit the trailer so well, it took me back to when I was a kid and I discovered Blur from Song 2 in FIFA 98
