‘I Am A Living Legend’ – Typically Humble Zlatan Ibrahimovic Accepts Place On Malmo’s ‘Walk Of Fame’
By Chris Wright
Back in town on international duty over the weekend, Zlatan Ibrahimovic was honoured by his first professional club with a slab on Malmo’s ‘Walk of Fame’ outside the Swedish side’s Swedbank Stadion and accepted the nod with typical humility:
“It is a great honor, it means that I have done something during my career. We usually say that you cannot become a legend before death, but I am a living legend – at least in Malmo.”
It takes a brave man to claim himself a living legend while wearing flippy-flops, but if anyone has the huevos, it’s Ibra.
That slab again…
