WIN THE CHANCE FOR YOUR CHILD TO BE A McDONALD’S PLAYER ESCORT AT THE ENGLAND V HOLLAND MATCH

We’ve teamed up with McDonald’s, the official Community Partner of The FA, to offer three lucky youngsters between the ages of 7 and 11 years old the chance to become McDonald’s Player Escorts as England take on Holland in an international friendly on 29th February.

This once-in-a-lifetime experience includes the chance to walk out, hand-in-hand, with the nation’s greatest footballers as they line up to take centre stage against Van Marwijk’s ‘Oranje’ army in the first friendly of the year.  The prize includes four tickets to the match as well as a goody bag, replica national shirt and shorts and a contribution towards travel expenses on the day for each player escort.

McDonald’s has been the Community Partner of the FA since 2002 and aims to help young footballers shine.  Since the partnership was formed, McDonalds has created over 20,000 qualified football coaches, offering 2 million hours of free, quality football to young players across the UK.

Sir Geoff Hurst, McDonald’s Director of Football said: “Young football fans across the world dream of one day playing for their country and becoming a Player Escort takes them one step closer by  walking out with footballing icons at the national stadium.  It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I hope the children have a really fantastic evening and fingers crossed England start 2012 with a win!”

I watched the England v Holland game, and what I don’t understand is that our mascots were mostly fat or really chubby! Good old england, Holland’s weren’t. Jesus their bellies stuck right out!
