World beaters… apparently.

As the dust settles on what was a rather fine EURO 2012, FIFA have released their latest world rankings, rankings which see the all-conquering Spain stay top, followed by Germany (up one spot), Uruguay (down one spot) and er, England, who jump up two places. Yep, you read it right, the Three Lions, who lit up Poland and Ukraine with their bus-parking shenanigans, are now ranked abovethe likes of Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands and Brazil. So there.

Brazil’s rank of 11th is the lowest in the history of the rankings while Bhutan, Montserrat, San Marino and Turks And Caicos Islands are all tied as the official worst team in the world, in joint-205th place.

Here’s the top 20 chart rundown – (you can find the complete rankings here). Oh, and if you want to find out how the rankings are calculated, look here.
