For the second time in four years, the Boateng half- brothers  faced each other in the World Cup, this time in Saturday night’s clash between Germany and Ghana in Fortaleza.

Both Berlin-born with a Ghanaian father and German mothers, Kevin-Prince ultimately chose to represent his old man’s nation, despite having played at all levels for Germany up to U21. Jerome, on the other hand stuck with Germany, which lead to Saturday’s night’s historic clash.

Interestingly, both Boatengs were subbed off in the game, with Kevin-Prince’s replacement Jordan Ayew joining his elder brother Andre on the pitch. Sibling-tastic!
