PSG will not be winning a sixth consecutive Coupe de la Ligue after being sent packing from the semi-finals by Ligue 1 bottom side Guingamp.

Ahead through a Neymar goal, the Parisians led until the 81st minute until a couple of penalties from Yeni G’Bbakoto and Marcus Thuram (Lillian’s lad) saw Guingamp pip them in dramatic circumstances.

After winning the spot-kick himself, Thuram stepped up to slot the winner away in the 92nd minute, and that was all after he’d already missed from the spot earlier in the second half.

And lo, PSG suffer their first defeat in the cup since 2014, thus bringing to an end a near-five-year, 44-game unbeaten streak – and against an opposition who have been rock bottom of the league for months on end.

What a darned shame.
