Too Many England Flags?

… Yeah, a tad too many. Just a tad.

This is the house of pensioner Doreen Carnelley. She lives in Clifton, Nottingham. She supports England… a bit too much, wethinks. That’s not all – Doreen’s local council cut down a string of 27 England flags she had put on lampposts outsider her house. She found the flags dumped in a hedge.

“I felt terrible. I was upset. It has hurt me so much. They said they had complaints and cut them down,” she told the Nottingham Evening Post.

Petty bastards.

  1. Chris says:

Knowing the Clifton area as I do, this is not surprising.

The flags will be replaced by a 10ft tall inflatable Santa as soon as the World Cup is finished.

  2. Dave says:

Yes one has gone too far Mrs Carnelley. Take them down and just leave one or two.
