England Star Wins Extension To High Court Injunction, Tabloids Gagged

A current England international, who played for his country at the 2010 World Cup, has won a continuation of a High Court gagging order preventing the “misuse” of sensitive private information about him. Who could it be!?

The original injunction was granted to the as-yet-unnamed player on August 19, blocking the publication of allegations about his private life. Another clue: I also hear whispers that the player in question is in a relationship and has a kid with his partner. Hmm…

And of course another high-profile England international is currently being protected from the red-tops by a similar court order. I think we all have a pretty good idea who that is.

I’m sure the News of the World is happy to sit tight – it will have its day, eventually. The gags will come off and when they do, a whole lot of poop will hit the fan at a startling velocity.

I can feel it, coming in the air tonight…
