Diego Maradona tells journalists they take it up the arse

Maradona is clearly a crap manager who has almost no idea what his best Argentina XI is – but boy does he give good copy. After his side’s unconvincing 1-0 defeat of Uruguay, a result that ensured the lovely Argies will be in South Africa next summer, he spoke to the gentlemen of the press:
“You lot take it up the arse… if the ladies will pardon the expression,” he informed the assembled journalists, perhaps mistaking them for Victoria Beckham.
I’d have warmed more to Sven and Shmoking Shteve McClaren if they’d had the balls to speak to journalists in such a brilliantly blunt fashion. Good for you, Diego, you crazy, testicle-grabbing, hack-baiting maverick, you.
