World Cup Kits: New Umbro England Away Kit Revealed In Full, With Help From Kasabian (With Photos & Video)
By Ollie Irish
Umbro launched its new England Away Kit (which you can WIN if you enter our awesome competition) during a Kasabian gig in Paris. Not your average kit launch, but then Umbro is fast gaining a reputation for thinking outside the box:
And here are some official pics of the new kit:
First thoughts? I’m a fan – it’s clean, simple and the white cuffs are a nice touch; in fact, I prefer it to the current home kit. Some of you may find it too basic, but I think it’s reet classy, and as with most new Umbro kits, it looks built to last.
You like?

Really like it. I think more teams should go back to basics in regards to kit design, just because you can make a kit a plethora of colour, doesn’t mean you should.
The shirt’s fine, it looks a little cheap in these photos but actually it’s quite a nice looking material.
If only they’d used the shirt crest on the shorts, the red one ruins the kit for me.
And the keeper kit is awful – really awful.
You gotta be joking me. The guy makes the shirt look horrible because of his embarrassing physique.
The kit is nice but have an actual athlete debut it rather than some shit band.
The very definition of “meh”
Anybody else find this part a little strange:

Now unless there is also a Paris in England (and there could be, I’m no geographer) why the heck would they release the new England kit somewhere other than in England?
@Adam: It’s a little strange considering that I understood the kit would be released ‘on field’ when England play Egypt on March 3rd.

adam: it was released in paris because it’s the away kit… umbro’s attempt at clever marketing
