Lyon And Adidas Unveil New ‘3D’ European Kit (Photos)

By Chris Wright

People of Earth, welcome to the future. As of next season, Lyon are going to be wearing a ‘3D’ kit in their European games. Three dimensions. Up, Across and Back.

“But the very nature of our human perception of perspective renders all kits three-dimensional, it’s a basic concept,” we hear you cry, to which we say “Nay, this, friends…is different…this is REVOLUTIONARY!”

See? The bit between the nipples is like those posters of dinosaurs you used to pull out of comics? We are truly living in the World of Tomorrow.

Don’t you just love how Adidas seem to have free license to go completely beserk with Lyon kits? If it’s not 3D scribbles, it’s making OL’s shirts look like a pair of your Nan’s curtains.

First they gave us Clima-Cool, then they put a brain in Messi’s boots and now they’ve forever changed the way we think about depth perception! Take a bow Adidas, your innovation knows no bounds!!

  5. Hey ma, get off tha dang roof! says:

So are all the players and fans going to have to wear 3D glasses the entire game to experience it? I do hope they get knocked out of Europe quickly before the novelty wears off.

  6. Anonymous says:

this seriously belongs in the “”shit kits” section!

  7. […] tres cool is that?┬áThis from the same club that bought you the world’s first “3D” football kit a while back. Those crazy cats at Lyon, eh? Always pushing the boundaries to breaking […]
