The new Nike Zenit St. Petersburg home and away strips for 2012/13 are in and they are pretty darn swish…

With the home is Zenit’s famous ‘laser blue’ and the away in white, the new strips are apparently inspired by Saint-Petersburg’s historic Vasilevskiy Island district with a nod towards the Russian constructivism style, while the arrow ‘points diagonally upwards as a symbol of the team’s will to win’.

Write that down because there will be a quiz later.

Home…

Away…

Bobby Dazzlers, the pair of them. What’s your verdict Pies fans? да пожалуйста or не спасибо?

    They always have sexy kits

  4. dave says:

    very swish, it’s a shame nike don’t seem to care about what all their kits look like and insist on making a new one every fecking year. whores.

  5. George says:

    Why di you not like the club?

  6. oleg says:

    I think the Europeans (racist Spanish, Italian, English – your captain is a horrible racist) really shouldn’t judge the minority of Russian fans. It’s a problem, yes, but it’s a problem that will get solved. Russia is still many years behind Europe in development and sadly there is racism. But for you all, what’s the excuse for your developed countries? What is the excuse for John Terry? How can he be so racist and not even receive a punishment? To me, that is more disgusting.
    Anyway, this is about the kit and it is great. My favorite kit from this season.

    @Francis and Anonymoose: exactly

    “…the leaders of the Ultras, a 5,000-strong group of Zenit supporters, are happy their club has still not signed an African.”

  9. johnnyauto says:

    FC St. Pauli!!

    “…most of the team’s fans regard themselves as anti-racist, anti-fascist, anti-homophobic and anti-sexist, and this has on occasion brought them into conflict with neo-Nazis and hooligans at away games. The organisation has adopted an outspoken stance against racism, fascism, sexism, and homophobia and has embodied this position in its constitution.

    The club prides itself on having the largest number of female fans in all of German football.[5] In 2002, advertisements for the men’s magazine Maxim were removed from the team’s stadium, in response to fans’ protests over the adverts’ allegedly sexist depictions of women.

    @johnnyauto (re: FC St. Pauli)

    What has a second tier Bundesliga team’s moral stance got to do with the new Zenit kits?

    Sure, talk about Zenit’s minority of ultras, but why bring in FC St. Pauli?

    Am I missing some kind of historical link between clubs?

  11. zip says:

    ugly as british people

  12. Terry Shedingham says:

    @johnnyauto

    To be honest, having 5 female fans isn’t really something to boast about

  13. kkk says:

    I am Zenit fan and I’m not a racist
