Lille have gotten around to unveiling the blacked-out Umbro third shirt they plan to wear in Europe throughout 2012/13, with Les Dogues roping in every man and his dog (quite literally) to show of their new clobber on the streets of the French city – just click for full-sized images…

Lille Third Kit 2012/13 - Fans

LOSC’s stealthy new third shirt is rendered in black and grey halves with the detailing all in Flanders yellow, which we are assured is ‘a subtle nod to the historic region of Europe in which Lille is situated’ and is available from the club’s official online store from August 10th should you fancy treating yourself.

As with the new Lille home and away strips (as mentioned below), we’re salivating longingly over their third strip too – though we are suckers for the sparse, clean and simple school of kit design.

What’s the verdict Pies fans? ‘Oui oui’ or ‘non non’?

Reminds me of the widespread Nike goalie shirts from 06/07

  2. Dusty says:

It’s perfectly okay, not remarkable though.

Celtic’s black/grey away kit is much classier.

  3. Santi says:

Lille have great kits this year, especially their home kit- one of my favourites ever along with bilbao’s green kit last season.

  4. Venny says:

Umbro are doing what all kit manufacturers should do, keep it simple. Maybe throw on a collar for some added class?
