Nike Launch New ‘Green Speed 2′ Boots – Recycled Bottles And Beans Never Looked So Good! (Photos)
By Chris Wright

You may remember Nike’s original Greenspeed (‘GS’) boots which were worn by Neymar at the London Olympics and were mostly made from recycled bottles and beans to keep them as light and ecologically sound as possible. What we have here is the sequel; the Greenspeed 2 – or ‘GS2′ if you’d prefer.
Rather than only letting one of their guys run around in them, this time Nike are letting a whole raft of their bright young things trot out in the new GS2s, which will be worn by the likes of Theo Walcott, Eden Hazard, Raheem Sterling, Mario Goetze, Christian Eriksen and Stephan El Shaarawy.
Here be they…
As we understand it, the big ‘ACC’ on the flank stands for ‘All Conditions Control’, i.e, things don’t get slippery when wet while you’re wearing these babies.
What are we thinking Pies folks and folkettes? Yay or nay? They don’t get much more than a ‘meh’ from us. Bit flashy for our taste.
If you’re interested, the Nike GS 2s will be available to pre-order from November 23rd from Nike.com.
