With Nike pipping them to the post and doing their bit to mark Cristiano Ronaldo’s remarkable 2011/12 stats in boot form, Adidas have produced a special pair of F50 boots for Lionel Messi in order to commemorate their man’s ridiculous four-for-four Ballon d’Or streak.

Yeah, they’re pretty cool. The plan is for Messi to wear the boots for Sunday’s La Liga match against Malaga, so be sure to keep an eye out for them.
