Snapshot: Gerd Muller Receives Lionel Messi’s Signed Shirt…

By Chris Wright

You remember us showing you the signed shirt Lionel Messi sent to Gerd Muller after tanking his ‘goals in a year’ record? Well look what came through the letter box at Bayern Munich HQ this morning…

After unwrapping his little prezzie, Muller told the Barcelona website: “I’m very pleased and proud to receive a jersey like this from the bet player in the world.”

Muller also said that he plans to loan the shirt to the Bayern Munich mega-museum because he’s a bloody good egg.
